There are many methods out there. Some rely on strictness, some on endless praise, some promise miracles in three days. We do none of that.
Our work is based on a simple principle: Your dog needs to understand what you want — and you need to understand how they think. When that clicks, you don’t need tricks. It just works.
We work reward-based — with treats, markers, clickers and play. At the same time, we set fair boundaries: calm interruption, clear routines, understandable rules.
The approach is systematic: In the beginning, we lead strictly and clearly, so your dog understands exactly what’s meant. Once the foundation is solid, we reduce the aids and switch to natural communication — flexible and tailored to you as a team.
The goal: As much guidance as needed, as little as possible.
Phase 1 — Structure: Clear steps, short practice windows, many small wins. Your dog learns the basics, you learn to read them.
Phase 2 — Transfer: Reduce aids, add variations. Different location, longer duration, more distraction. What works at home should also work outside.
Phase 3 — Flex: Your own style. Fewer tools, more natural communication. You understand each other — even without constant commands.
Many think of circus when they hear tricks. For us, tricks are training capital: They provide alternatives (hand touch instead of jumping up), improve body awareness (turning, slalom) and build confidence.
Tricks also help with practical things: giving a paw for nail trimming, putting on a muzzle calmly, staying still at the vet. That’s called Cooperative Care — and it makes your life easier.
We show you the transfer into everyday life. Fun and function belong together.
Because we don’t just train the dog — we mainly train you. You’re the one who lives with your dog every day. When you understand what you’re doing and why — it works without us too.
We give you tools, not dependency. After training, you know how to react when things get difficult. You won’t need us for every little setback.
That’s our goal: That you work as a team — independently, relaxed, in everyday life.
